MEET RESULTS
Setting the Scene
Rhode Island improved to 10-1 in the 2014 portion of this season's schedule with a 146-111 win against in-state rival Bryant on Saturday evening.
Rhode Island Highlights
- The relay team of Hannah Homans, Rachel Revolinski, Colette Aubin, and Caitlin Haggan edged out teammates Emily Thomesen, Carly Deliberty, Bridget Whalen, and Porshe Ferrell in the 200yd medley relay, winning the event by .26 seconds.
- Jenna Kirchoff (10:56.13) and Sydney Williams (10:58.30) finished 1-2 in the 1000yd freestyle.
- Sarah Keshishian won the 200yd freestyle in 1:58.36, outswimming teammate Lauren Folkert, who finished second with a time of 1:59.50. Folkert was also a hair short in the 200yd backstroke, finishing second to Bryant's Nicole Salzano by .05 seconds.
- Deliberty won the 100yd breaststroke in 1:08.13.
- Whalen dominated the 200yd butterfly, winning by nearly four seconds.
- Ferrell and Haggan took the top two spots in the 50yd freestyle, finishing in 25.08 and 25.45 respectively.
- Jessica Andruzzi won the 200yd breaststroke in 2:28.63.
- Keshishian and Kirchoff were the two best swimmers in the 500yd freestyle, with Keshishian winning the event by nearly five seconds, (5:19.45), and Kirchoff taking second in 5:24.22.
- Whalen and Aubin took the top two slots in the 100yd butterfly, with Whalen beating the one minute mark with a 59.59 finish.

This meet was the final meet of 2014 for the Rams. The team will return to the pool on January 3, 2015 vs. Richmond in Sarasota, Fla. The start time for that meet is yet to be determined.
