KINGSTON, R.I. - Rhode Island was picked to finish ninth in the 2025-26 Atlantic 10 Women's Swimming and Diving Preseason Poll, released by the league Wednesday afternoon.
The Rams earned 28 points in the voting, which was done by the league's head coaches. Four-time defending champion George Washington was tabbed as the favorite once again, though voting among the top three teams was close. The Revolutionaries had 97 points and seven first-place votes, followed by Richmond (90 points, 2 first-place votes) and Duquesne (83 points, 1 first-place vote).
Rhode Island returns six individuals who scored team points at the 2025 conference championship. Five of the six -

Logan Norrid,
Julianna Tyler,
Olivia Winslow and
Lily Hsu - scored in multiple events.
Kelly, a senior placed seventh in the 200-yard freestyle, scoring 12 points for Rhode Island. She also was 12th in the 500 freestyle, good for five more team points.
Norrid, a team captain this year, made the consolation final in both the 200 and 100 breaststroke events. She placed 12th in the 200 (5 points) and 15th in the 100 (2 points).
Tyler was ninth in the 400 individual medley, scoring nine points in the process. She took 10th in the 200 Butterfly for seven points. Sophomore
Lily Gugino was 13th in the 400 IM, adding four points to URI's total.
Divers
Olivia Winslow and
Lily Hsu combined for 24 team points at last year's championship. Winslow, a junior, placed 10th in both events, while Hsu, a seior took 12th place in both.
