Rams Drop Doubleheader to Boston College

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2

How it Happened
In Game One, Rhode Island took a 1-0 lead in the first as by Pat Quinn doubled to push across Shane O'Connell and give the Rams an early lead. Boston College evened it up in the fourth, however, and plated a go-ahead run in the fifth to take its first lead of the game at 2-1.

Quinn and O'Connell combined for an equalizer in the sixth - this time with O'Connell scoring on a sacrifice fly - but BC came back with five runs in the eighth to take the first game by a score of 7-2.

Game Two saw the Eagles plate one in the first, but Rhody quickly responded in the bottom of the frame with Tim Caputo scoring on a wild pitch and O'Connell crossing the plate on a sac-fly by Connor Foreman. O'Connell then used a sac-fly of his own to drive in Ryan Olmo in the bottom of the second for the 3-1 Rhody advantage.

Two innings later though, Boston College put up a three spot for the eventual 4-3 victory.
