The Rams got on the board first, as Amanda Nardella scored her second goal of the season off a header in the 15th minute. Her score was set up from a set piece, with Katrin Gylfadottir serving the free kick into the box. Bonaventure would tie the game just 1:25 later, as Abby Maiello took a cross on the left side of the box and beat URI GK Katie Nickles.
The Bonnies took a 2-1 edge early in the second half, scoring off a post shot ricochet at the 48:00 minute mark. Taylor Ross' 35 yard blast in the 52nd minute knotted the game at 2-2 and the Rams took a 3-2 lead in the 61st minute thanks to Ari Stanton's team-best sixth goal of the season, assisted by Ellie Bailes.
SBU would tie the match in the 70th minute on a point blank shot from five yards out, forcing extra time. Bona would tack on the game winner in the 99th minute, as Lauren Hill scored her second goal of the match off a crossing pass.
