Two Early Goals Lead Flyers Past Rams

How It Happened:

Dayton got the only goal it would need in the third minute of play when leading scorer Ashley Campbell took a pass to inside the eight yard box and found the back of the net.  Three minutes later Campbell gave the Flyers a two goal advantage, this time scoring on a rebound put-back from a shot by teammate Nicole Waters that trickled away from URI goalkeeper Katie Nickles.

The Rams best shot to cut into the Flyers lead came in the 52nd minute when a Dayton foul was called inside the box giving the Rhody a penalty kick.  Ari Stanton took the PK attempt, however was unable to convert with her shot hitting the left post.
