How It Happened:
It was an even first 31 minutes of the match before Saint Louis began the scoring at the 31:43 mark.  Maddie Pokorny began a 1-v-1 break from midfield and managed to get a shot past Katie Nickles by the left post.  The Rams held an 8-7 edge in shots in the first half, with each team putting two attempts on net.

Just two minutes into the second half, SLU was whistled for a takedown in the box, leading to a PK attempt for the Rams.  Nicole Brennan converted the attempt for her first goal of the season, tying the match at 1-1.  The two teams combined for eight shot attempts the rest of the half in a well-played defensive match.

Seven minutes into overtime, SLU tallied the game winner as Pokorny delivered a crossing pass from right-to-left, finding Kirsten Clemens in the box for the score.
