How it Happened
Trailing 3-0 in the top of the fourth, Rhode Island (13-13-1) loaded the bases with no outs but only managed to score one run - on a Matt O'Neil sacrifice fly that plated Chris Hess.
O'Neil later doubled in the sixth, and walks to Tim Caputo and Ryan Olmo loaded the bases, but a foul out quickly ended Rhody's chances.
O'Neil struck again in the top of the eighth, this time doubling to score Connor Foreman, who had entered the game to pinch run after Derek Gardella was walked with two away.
Boston College (17-18) responded with a pair of runs in the bottom of the frame however, locking up the 5-2 win.
