How it Happened
Rhode Island (16-19, 8-4) took a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the second when Mike Foley doubled to drive in Chase Livingston and Chris Hess.

St. Bonaventure (17-16-1, 4-8) slowly chipped away, putting runners on in the second and third before Cole Peterson's two-out RBI double made it 2-1 in the top of the fifth. An inning later, the Bonnies plated an unearned run to even things up before pulling ahead 3-2 in the top of the seventh.

URI moved back ahead for good in the bottom of the frame. With two away, and Rams on first and second, an error in left field allowed both runners to score on the fly ball by Martin Figueroa, who later crossed the plate on a Jordan Powell double.

Rhody added one more in the bottom of the eighth when Brett McManus scored on a passed ball.
