Set One – Fordham 25, Rhode Island 11
Fordham steadily pulled away in the opening set, using several spurts to control the tempo. Leading 5-4, the hosts used a 6-1 run to go up 11-5. After back-to-back URI points got Rhody within four points, an 8-2 run for Fordham widened the gap and allowed the hosts to cruise. Â

Set Two – Fordham 25, Rhode Island 20
Rhode Island led early on, scoring four straight points to go in front, 9-7. Fordham used a 7-2 run to move in front, 14-11, and URI responded with three of its own to knot the score. Fordham scored four of the next five points and never let the Rams back in the set.

Set Three – Fordham 25, Rhode Island 20 6.
The most competitive set of the night was the third. A
Brynne Wright kill got the Rams within 19-18. Unfortunately, Fordham scored three straight to pull ahead 22-18. The teams traded points until a Bella Urena kill and a URI attack error ended the match.

- With the win, Fordham holds a one-game lead over Rhode Island in the Atlantic 10 standings heading into the season finale.
- In order for URI to win the tiebreaker for the final spot in the A-10 championship, Rhody will have to sweep Fordham while holding it to less than 51 total points Sunday.
- Fordham had 41 kills and just 10 attack errors in the match
- Claire Wagner was the lone Rhode Island player in double digits on the attack. She had 11 kills and four digs.
- Grace Hammond had 21 assists and seven digs.
