Set One – Rhode Island 25, Saint Louis 20
It was a competitive set throughout until Rhode Island took control late. The teams had 14 ties and five lead changes before Saint Louis took a 20-18 lead on a Kate Aupperle ace. URI caught fire, scoring seven straight points.
Grace Hammond led the late surge, recording two aces, one kill and two assists on
Brynne Wright kills during the run.

Set Two – Saint Louis 25, Rhode Island 21
With Rhode Island leading 12-9, Saint Louis put together its best stretch of the day, running off five straight points and eight of 10 overall to take a 17-14 lead. URI fought back and managed to get within one at 21-20 after a
Jamie Smith kill. Saint Louis did not break, scoring four of the final five points to clinch the set on Lili Welti's kill.

Set Three – Rhode Island 25, Saint Louis 23Â
The third set mirrored the opening set, with back-and-forth action being the norm. The teams were tied 10 times and there were seven lead changes during the critical set. A
Gillian Klise kill put the Rams up 24-21, but Saint Louis fought off two set points before
Jamie Smith gave Rhode a 2-1 lead in sets.
Set Four – Rhode Island 25, Saint Louis
Rhode Island took control early, using an 8-2 run to establish an early 10-5 lead after a
Tori Britton kill. Saint Louis never got closer than three points the rest of the way as URI snapped its four-match losing streak and avenged an earlier loss to the Billikens.

- With the victory, Rhode Island improved to 12-18 overall and 4-10 in the Atlantic 10.
- The Rams head into the final week of the season tied for sixth in the conference with Fordham, thanks to Fordham falling to Davidson Sunday. URI and Fordham play each other twice next weekend.
- Freshman Brittany Myers led Rhode Island with 16 kills and had a .571 attack percentage in 28 attempts.
- Grad student Jamie Smith had her fifth consecutive double-double, finished with 13 kills and 10 assists.
- Freshman Grace Hammond added a double-double of her own, recording 41 assists and 10 digs.
- Hammond also had three service aces, giving her 40 for the year. It is the fifth most by a URI player since the rally point era began in 2001.
- Sophomore Brynne Wright had 14 kills.
- Senior Ella Ratzloff recorded 28 digs, which tied for the fifth most in a single match in program history. Ratzloff has four of the top seven single-match dig totals in URI history.
- She also had nine assists, just missing a double-double.
- With her second dig, Ratzloff became the second player in program history to reach 500 in a single season. With 526, Ratzloff is just 13 behind Leslie Wiekamp's team record of 539, set in 2006.

Rhode Island closes out the regular season with two matches against Fordham next weekend. Rhody travels to Fordham for a match Friday, Nov. 12 (5 p.m.) before the teams face off in Keaney Gymnasium on Sunday, Nov. 14 (3 p.m.).
