KINGSTON, R.I. – Rhode Island's football game at Bryant scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 27 has been postponed. Bryant has canceled the game out of an abundance of caution for the health and safety of the student-athletes. The Bulldogs' contact practices have been limited due to COVID-19 protocols.

If schedule openings allow the teams to play this spring, efforts will be made to do so.

As it stands now, Rhode Island will open play on March 13 at Villanova, the CAA Football opener for the shortened spring season. URI has six league games on its schedule (full list below). Bryant has a four-game schedule in the NEC, beginning March 7 at Long Island.

Rhode Island and Bryant remain scheduled to open the Fall 2021 season against each other. The Rams will host the Bulldogs on Saturday, Sept. 4.
