How it Happened
Rhode Island dropped its road match at New Hampshire, falling 2-0 Sunday.Â
The Rams held the Wildcats scoreless in the first half, but UNH got on the board after a penalty kick by Whitney Wiley. Rhody was able to get two shots on goal from Tess O'Connell and Carrie Ellis in the second half, but New Hampshire doubled its lead after Emily Bini found Francesca Picicci for her second goal of the season. Rhody was unable to get anything going offensively, and fell for the third straight game.
