How it Happened
An early goal for Northeastern could not be answered by URI as the Rams fell 1-0 to the Huskies Sunday afternoon.
The Huskies got on the board at the nine minute mark off a goal from Gabrielle Scarlett with an assist credited to Rose Kaefer. Rebecca D'Anna responded with a shot on goal, but Angeline Friel made the save, her first of three on the day. Northeastern was able to hold the 1-0Â lead going in to the break.Â
Freshman Tess O'Connell had two shots on the frame in the second half, but Friel kept the net empty for the Huskies as the Rams dropped their fourth straight.Â
