Rhode Island took the 1-2-3 at the UMass Multi Meet. Led by senior Drew Nealey's four first-place finishes, the Rams placed first in seven of the 10-event decathlon. 

Highlights from the Decathlon

• Drew Nealey won the two-day decathlon with 6688 total points, a career best. Nealey placed first in the high jump (1.92m), the pole vault (4.45m), the javelin (53.07m), and the long jump (6.56m) and finished second in the 1500m (4:44.70), third in the shot put (12.06m), fifth in the 100m (11.66s), fifth in the discus (32.56m), fifth in the 110m hurdles (16.43s), and sixth in the 400m (53.53s).
• Stephen Cirella was second, with 6363 points. Cirella won the discus (41.70m) and the shot put (14.48m), and placed second in the high jump (1.86m), the pole vault (4.25m), and the javelin (49.57m), and finished fourth in the 110m hurdles (16.35s), sixth in the long jump (6.08m), seventh in the 100m (11.95s), seventh in the 1500m (5:19.34) and eighth in the 400m (56.36s).
• Devin Donahue was third for the Rams in his first career multi event meet. Donahue won the 110m hurdles (15.43s), placed second in the 100m (11.40s), second in the discus (38.90m), and finished third in the 400m (52.42s), fifth in the high jump (1.68m), fifth in the shot put (10.87m), fifth in the 1500m (5:10.19), fifth in the pole vault (3.55m), sixth in the javelin (37.70m), and eighth in the long jump (5.96m).
