Rhode Island (3-14, 0-4 Atlantic 10) was blanked in both ends of its doubleheader at Saint Joseph's, falling 6-0 and 9-0 Friday afternoon.

Game 1 – Saint Joseph's 6, Rhode Island 0
Despite getting runners into scoring position in six of its seven turns at bat, Rhode Island was unable to produce any runs. The game was close throughout, as Saint Joseph's scored single runs in the third and fifth innings. The Hawks broke it open with a four-run sixth that was highlighted by a three-run home run for Paxton Baxter.

Game 2 – Saint Joseph's 9, Rhode Island 0 (5 inn.)
Emily Siler limited the Rams to three hits in the second game was given plenty of run support. The Hawks scored twice in the first, two more times in the third and five times in the fourth inning en route to a mercy-rule victory.
Rhode Island got runners on base in four of the five innings, but it wound up stranding five runners.
