Set One – Rhode Island 25, Morgan State 18
Rhode Island converted 68 percent of its sideout opportunities (13-19) and held Morgan State to a -.030 attack percentage as the Bears recorded just nine kills and had 10 attack errors. The Rams led by as many as seven (23-16) late in the set and used an Ella Ratzloff service ace to finish off the 25-18.
Set Two – Rhode Island 25, Morgan State 20
Morgan State had its only lead of the set at 4-3. The Rams scored the next three points and did not trail again. The Bears tied the score at 6-6, 8-8 and 9-9, but three straight Rhody points gave URI the lead for good. It was back and forth play the rest of the way, but Rhody outlasted Morgan State 25-20.
Set Three – Rhode Island 28, Morgan State 26
The third and final set featured 10 ties and three lead changes, and took extra points to decide. The Bears had a late four-point lead at 18-14, an appeared in control to close it out at 23-19, but four straight kills by the Rams evened things up at 23-23. Rhody then fought off set point at 24-23 and 25-24, before sandwiching a Grace Hammond service ace between a pair of Morgan State attack errors for the 28-26 win.

- Senior Ella Ratzloff recorded 18 digs in the win. With her 13th dig of the day, she became Rhody's all-time digs leader in the rally scoring era, passing Peggy Doino, who accumulated 1157 from 2005-08. Ratzloff currently has 1,164 career digs.
- Sophomore Brynne Wright led Rhode Island with 10 kills.
- Grad student Jamie Smith recorded eight kills, four digs and two block assists.
- Senior Tori Britton finished with six kills, four digs, three blocks and one assist.
- Freshman Grace Hammond registered 15 assists, seven kills, three digs, two blocks and one service ace. She now has 21 aces through 14 matches
