Set One – Davidson 25, Rhode Island 19
With Davidson leading 16-10, Rhody scored five consecutive points to get back within one at 16-15. The Wildcats responded with an 8-2 push however, to set up set point at 24-17. A kill by Brittany Myers and an ace by Grace Hammond kept the Rams alive, but a service error on the next point gave Davidson the set at 25-19.

Set Two – Davidson 25, Rhode Island 16
Davidson scored two points for each of Rhody's one to build an early 6-3 advantage. The Rams eventually tied the score at 7-7, but that was as close as they would get as the Wildcats grabbed the next three points, and later scored seven in a row to extend the lead to 21-12. The teams traded points one-for-one the rest of the way, with Davidson coming out on top 25-16.

Set Three – Davidson 25, Rhode Island 21
Rhode Island's only lead of the set came at 1-0. After Rhody scored the first point, Davidson claimed four of the next five, and pushed the lead to 15-9 midway through the set. Rhody then sandwiched a Jamie Smith ace between two Davidson errors to get within three (15-12). It was back-and-forth play from that point on, until three consecutive URI points – on kills by Smith (2) and Brynne Wright (1) cut the Wildcats' lead to two at 22-20. Davidson outscored Rhody 3-1 down the stretch though, to win 25-21 and complete the three-set sweep.
