How It Happened
After a scoreless first half, Rhode Island got on the board in the 58th minute when Cian Purcell sent a long throw-in into the box, where Patrick Agyemang one-timed a shot past La Salle's Valentin Kneis for the 1-0 advantage.

The Explorers equalized on a 70th-minute penalty kick by Nigel Buckley, but Rhody reclaimed the lead just 18 seconds later when Edvin Akselsen hammered a cross from Rafa Villanueva into the back of the net to put the Rams up 2-1.

Buckley struck again for La Salle in the 85th minute however, firing a loose rebound into the wide-open net to even the score one more time. Rhode Island was unable to get another shot off before time expired, ending things in a 2-2 draw.
