RAMS LOOK TO SECURE THIRD STRAIGHT WINNING SEASON

  • With three games remaining in the regular season, Rhode Island needs one more win to secure the program's third straight winning season.
  • The Rams are 5-3 this year after going 7-4 in 2021. The team was 2-1 in the COVID-shortened 2021-22 Spring season.
  • The last time Rhode Island had three consecutive winning seasons was a four-year run from 1982 through 1985, when Bob Griffin led the Rams to seasons of 7-4, 6-4, 10-3 and 10-3 for the best stretch in program history.
  • URI has three winning seasons in the last four years overall.
  • With one more win in the final three games, head coach Jim Fleming will secure a second straight .500 record in CAA Football action.
  • The last time Rhode Island was above .500 in conference play was 2001, when the Rams were 6-3 in the Atlantic 10.

  • Ehrhardt passed for 4,508 yards in 1985 and 3,870 in 1984.
