PENNSAUKEN, N.J. – Rhode Island head coach
Shelagh Donohoe was named the Atlantic 10 Women's Rowing Coach of the Year for the eighth time overall and the four year in a row, the conference announced Saturday.

Anna Sampson earned Second Team honors.
For Alexander, it was the second time she was named to the A-10 First Team. With Rhode Island's title Saturday, she became the first woman in program history to compete in and win four conference titles.
The all-conference honorees for the Rams led the team to its ninth A-10 title overall, and its fourth in a row. Rhode Island has won five of the last six league titles overall.
Rhode Island also earned its fourth consecutive trip to the NCAA Championship, which will be held at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, Fla. from May 27-29. URI will learn its seeding for the championship during the NCAA Division I Rowing Selection Show on NCAA.com Tuesday, May 17. The show begins at 5 p.m.
