How it Happened
The Rams earned their first tie of the season, playing Northeastern to a scoreless draw Thursday night in Boston, Mass.

Sophomore Carly Travers made five saves in the first 45 minutes of play for her first career shutout. The Rams had six shots in the first half, but couldn't get past Husky keeper Holland Stam.

After being unable to draw a corner kick in the first half, Rhody took seven corners in the second. The Rams had back-to-back chances from Hope Santaniello and Cierra Penny that were both stopped by Stam. Rhode Island was unable to find the back of the net for the tie.

  • Sophomore Carly Travers had her first shutout of the season. She had six total saves on the night. Her counterpart, Holland Stam, made seven stops.
  • Tali O'Leary led the Rams with to shots on goal. She had four shots total. 
  • The Rams held the advantage in shots, 19-12. 
  • Rhody had season highs in shots (19) and shots on goal (7). The seven corner kicks were also a season-best.
