How It Happened
The Rams earned their first scoring tie of the season, finishing 2-2, against Quinnipiac Sunday afternoon in Kingston.

The Bobcats scored their first goal two minutes into play off a shot by Paige LaBerge. Courtney Chochol was credited with the assist. QU scored its second goal of the day less than 10 minutes later. The initial shot from LaBerge was saved by Rhody keeper Faith Hutchins, but Rebecca Cooke was able to get a touch on the rebound to finish in the back of the net. The Bobcats went into the break with a 2-0 lead.

Rhody responded quickly after halftime, coming back from the break with their offense surging. Francesca Highton secured the shot off of a strong cross pass from Hope Santaniello for her first career goal. Less than two minutes later Highton drew Quinnipiac goalie Sofia Lospinoso out of the net just enough to assist Brooke Cavino in the Rams equalizing goal.

Both the Rams and the Bobcats were unable to find the back of the net in the remainder of the second half for Rhody's third draw of the season.
