KINGSTON, R.I. - After rushing for a career-high 233 yards and three touchdowns, Rhode Island Football's Ja'Den McKenzie was awarded Co-Offensive Player of the Week honors by CAA Football.

The running back collected the award on Monday morning, following the team's 31-24 senior day victory over North Carolina A&T. McKenzie's third touchdown of Saturday's outing, scored with 2:55 to play, proved to be the game winner as the Rams held off the Aggies to secure their fourth consecutive winning season.

McKenzie's yardage stands as the third-most in program single-game history and the most by a URI back in 22 years. Thanks to the addition of his two other TD runs, for 39 and 30 yards, he is up to 11 on the season, just one shy of Rhody's season record. 

The graduate student shares the weekly accolade with Monmouth's wide receiver Dymere Miller, who made 11 receptions for a program-record 333 yards. Despite his two touchdowns, the team fell 31-24 to New Hampshire. 

McKenzie and the rest of the Rams will close out the regular season Saturday, Nov. 18 with a 1 p.m. game at Towson. A win over the Tigers would help the team win seven games in three consecutive seasons for the first time in program history.
