2023 (Graduate Student)
  • Appeared in all 11 games for the Rams
  • Broke a nearly 70-year-old record when he finished the season with 13 rushing touchdowns
  • Rushed for 855 total yards, the sixth-most of any player in CAA Football
  • Averaged 6.58 yards per carry, good for 10th in the country
  • Had his first high-impact game at Maine, where he tallied 121 rushing yards on 17 carries and found he end zone once (Sept. 15)
  • Also caught a 31-yard pass against the Black Bears
  • Rushed for 111 yards at Brown, with a long run of 50 yards, and scored a touchdown (Oct. 7)
  • Recorded the game-winning touchdown in overtime against No. 20 New Hampshire, his fourth of the outing 
  • McKenzie became fifth player in program history to rush for four or more touchdowns in a single game, finishing the contest with 135 yards 
  • Named CAA Football Offensive Player of the Week following the game against the Wildcats (Nov. 13)

  • Ranked fifth in the PSAC and 83rd in Division II in rushing TDs and seventh in the PSAC and 85th nationally in rushing yards
  • Ranked eighth all-time at WCU in career rushing TDs (30)
  • Ranked 10th all-time in TDs scored (32) and 12th all-time in career rushing yards (2,603)
  • One of only 19 former running backs to eclipse 2,000 yards rushing in a career
  • Third-fastest in school history to that milestone

  • Appeared in all 11 games, making 10 starts
  • Finished third in the PSAC in rushing with 980 yards, which led all Eastern Division runners, on 178 carries
  • Topped the entire PSAC with 12 touchdown runs and averaged 5.5 yards per carry and 89.1 yards per game
  • Helped WCU to the league’s top rushing attack
  • Also had four catches for 80 yards and one TD
  • Authored four 100-yard rushing games
  • Scored a rushing TD in all but three of the team’s games
