KINGSTON, R.I. — Rhode Island men's track and field had the top two scorers at the URI Heptathlon Thursday. Junior Ryan Tona and senior Devin Donahue led the Rams after Tona collected 5474 points for first, and Donahue had 4953 points over the two-day event for second.

Highlights from the Heptathlon
- Ryan Tona won the long jump (7.16m) and the high jump (2.01m), and placed second in the shot put (13.68m), second in the 60m hurdles (8.35s), second in the pole vault (4.25m) fifth in the 60 meters (7.27s), and fifth in the 1000m (2:53.70).
- Devin Donahue won the shot put (14.54m) and the 60m hurdles (8.28s), and finished second in the 60m (7.15s), fifth in the long jump (6.56m), 10th in the high jump (1.74m), sixth in the pole vault (3.75m) and 10th in the 1000m (3:05.45).
- Damian Scouloukas finished fourth in his first multi-event as a Ram. He collected 4427 points after finishing first in the pole vault (4.35m), third in the long jump (6.65m), 10th in the high jump (1.74m), 12th in the 60m hurdles (9.39s), 13th in the 60m (7.48s), 13th in the shot put (10.21m), and 16th in the 1000m (3:15.44).
- Wyatt Lamell was the fourth Ram to compete in the event. He collected 2782 points after finishing first in the 60m (7.11s), fourth in the long jump (6.61m), sixth in the shot put (11.27m), and third in the high jump (1.83m).
