RHODE ISLAND VS. BRYANT - SERIES NOTES

Tuesday's game will be the 26th all-time in the history between the Rams and the Bulldogs, which began in 2009.
Bryant currently has the advantage in the series at 14-10-1.
Each team has accumulated four wins within the past nine meetings, which includes a 7-7 tie from March 24, 2021.
Rhode Island's last victory over its in-state foe was a season ago when the team picked up an 11-8 win at home at Bill Beck Field.
The Rams used the long ball to their advantage in that outing, as redshirt junior Addison Kopack, sophomore Anthony DePino and redshirt sophomore Rob Butler all left the yard.
Redshirt junior Sean Sposato picked up his first career save in the game opposite the Bulldogs, retiring each of the six hitters he faced while fanning three.

MIDWEEK MASHING

The contest against Bryant will be Rhode Island's third midweek game of the 2023 campaign. The Rams currently sit at 1-1 in those efforts after defeating Quinnipiac 8-7 (March 28) before falling at Northeastern, 7-2 (March 29).
Rhody's victory over the Bobcats was highlighted by sophomore Ryan Andrade pitching his way out of a bases-loaded, no-out jam in the bottom of the ninth to eke out a one-run win for the Rams.
The Rams' bats were hot in their midweek outings a season ago, as the team combined for 75 total runs scored in nine games for an average of 8.3 a day.
Each of the team's four midweek victories in 2022 saw the Rams score 10-or-more runs, which included a season-high 27 runs at Holy Cross on April 13.
Both redshirt junior Addison Kopack and sophomore Anthony DePino each belted out a pair of homes runs opposite the Crusaders, while sophomore Eric Genther chipped in one of his own.
To go along with his teammates' homers, redshirt junior Calvin McCall added both a double and a triple.
