How it Happened
Rhode Island picked up its third scoreless draw of the season at Saint Joseph's Thursday, playing to a 0-0 tie in the league opener.

The Rams got things going early, putting together five shots in the first 45 minutes of play. A shot by Tess O'Connell nearly found the back of the net but was knocked off the post. The teams went into the break knotted at 0-0.

Rhody had their best opportunity in the final minutes of the game, after Sarah Yee was able to draw a corner kick as the clock was winding down. Sam Hagerty had time to get the corner off, but a sea of Saint Joseph's defenders were able to clear the ball and send the visitors home with the draw.
