How It Happened
Brown's Lorenzo Amaral scored early in both halves to lead Brown to a 2-1 victory over Rhode Island Tuesday, sending the Rams to their fifth straight loss.

In the eighth minute, Amaral controlled a URI goal kick near the right sideline at midfield and dribbled through three Rhody defenders as he moved across the pitch to the top of the box. He lined a left-footed shot into the lower corner of the net to keeper Nate DiLoreto's right, sneaking the ball inside the post for a 1-0 lead.

It didn't take long for Rhode Island to respond. Isak Oystese was taken down in the Brown box in the 17th minute, leading to a penalty kick. Oystese did the honors himself, firing a low shot into the corner of the net, beating the dive by Brown keeper Henrik Weiper to tie the score.

Three minutes into the second half, Charlie Adams was able to deflect a clearance attempt by the Rhode Island defense. The ball found Amaral alone in the middle of the box, and he finished the open look for the winning goal.
