How it Happened
Rhode Island had no answer for Dae Dae Grant or the perimeter shooting of Duquesne. The Rams lost 85-71 as the visiting Dukes shot 14-of-27 from the perimeter Saturday afternoon.

Grant scored 31 points and made half of his team's 3-point baskets on the day. Duquesne (13-8, 3-5 Atlantic 10) outscored URI 42-15 from long range.

The Rams (10-12, 4-5 Atlantic 10) had cut the deficit from 20 to eight following a pair of Tyson Brown free throws with 8:50 to go. However, it was all Duquesne down the stretch, as the Dukes pushed the lead back to as many as 16 to cruise to the win.
