Two Midweek Games on Deck for Rhody

Tuesday's game will be the second this season between the Rams and the Bulldogs, who previously played on April 16.
The Bulldogs claimed that meeting after scoring five unanswered runs in the seventh and eighth innings, 8-7.
Junior Anthony DePino led the offense with a 2-for-2 performance on a triple and a home run.

Rhode Island vs. Stonehill - Series Notes

The Rams and the Skyhawks will play one another for the second time both this season and all-time when they take the field on Wednesday.
URI earned a 19-15 victory over Stonehill at Bill Beck Field back on March 20.
Sophomore Michael Anderson drove in a program-record 12 runs to lead the team to victory. He slugged two home runs - a three-run shot and a grand slam - to go with a two-run triple, two-run double and an RBI double.
The 12 RBI were the most by a player in NCAA Division I this season.

Baseball Announces Fundraising Partnership with Hasbro Children's Hospital

Rhody Baseball has partnered with Hasbro Children's Hospital, located 45 minutes away in Providence, to raise money for the hospital during the 2024 season.
Throughout the year, every Rhody strikeout, win, hit, home run and stolen base will contribute directly to the children's hospital.
The fundraiser consists of five different pledge levels, with dollar amounts attached to each of the aforementioned statistical categories.
Juniors Eric Genther and Anthony DePino spearheaded the effort, working with sport administrator Jeff Johnson and members of the Hasbro Children's Hospital administration to organize the fundraiser.
Updates concerning the Rams' progress on the field and in their fundraising efforts will be provided on the team's social media channels throughout the year.
