The Rhode Island men's track and field outdoor season came to a close at the NCAA East Regional Friday. The meet, hosted by Kentucky, was the 20th straight NCAA Outdoor Preliminary the Rams have qualified for (2020 canceled due to COVID).

Matt Santy started things off for Rhody in the high jump. He cleared 2.09 meters for 21st place out of 43 competitors in his first career NCAA appearance.

The 4x100m relay team of Tristen Howard, Jolon O'Connor, Liam Creeley, and Jarrett Young unfortunately did not finish due to injury, ending the season that saw multiple program records broken, including the 39.61-second school record time that qualified the squad to Lexington.
