KINGSTON, R.I. -- Rhode Island had a pair of Rams earn Atlantic 10 weekly awards, the conference announced Tuesday. Junior Nick Martin was named Performer of the Week while sophomore Matt Lucas earned his second Rookie of the Week nod of the season after their dominating performance at the New England Championship last week. 

The Rams, winning their second New England title in three years Friday, were led by Martin who had a top-five finish in 24:06.33. Rhody's depth was on display in the 8k race, with Lucas placing 13th in a time of 24:43.19. 

Rhode Island returns to the course for the Atlantic 10 Championship in Cedarville, Ohio on Saturday, Nov. 1.
