GREEN SETS SIGHTS ON 1,000-POINT MILESTONE 

  • After scoring 12 points in Wednesday's loss to Dayton, senior forward David Green has 952 career points, leaving him just 48 shy of 1,000.
  • With three regular-season games and at least one Atlantic 10 Championship game remaining, Green needs to average 12.0 points per game the rest of the way to reach 1,000.
  • He is averaging 14.3 points per game this year, putting him on pace to reach the milestone.
  • In 43 career games with Rhode Island, Green has scored 613 points.
  • He had 339 points in a combined 58 games at Hofstra and Louisiana Tech. 
  • Green had a double-double Wednesday, adding 10 rebounds to go with the 12 points.
