How it Happened
Rhode Island Baseball put up two runs in the 10th inning to knock off Boston College for an 11-9 win on Wednesday night at the Harrington Athletics Village.

The Rams walked in a pair of runs to break the tie and though a sac bunt in the bottom of the frame put a pair of Eagles on second and third, reliever Zach Morris got out the jam to preserve the win.

Rhody had led by as much as 6-0 after DJ Perron's two-run homer in the second and another crooked number in the third. Eventually, the hosts got on the board with an RBI single in the fifth and went on to add seven more runs over the following three frames to go up 9-6.

Facing a deficit, Scott Penney delivered a three-run triple in the top of the ninth to knot up the teams at nine runs apiece and Morris retired all three batters he faced in the bottom of the frame. After Reece Moroney and Perron drew RBI walks in the 10th, Morris worked around the two aforementioned base-runners to seal the victory.
