Scoring Summary
80:04 - BROWN - Pereyra (Stistrup Peterson)

How it Happened
In a match short on dangerous chances, Brown managed to sneak a goal through the Rhode Island defense in the 81st minute to grab a 1-0 victory Tuesday night.

Taking a pass from Mads Stristrup Peterson, Mateo Pereyra dribbled through the middle of the URI box despite heavy challenges from multiple defenders. Pereyra and URI's Sebastian Berntsen got tangled up before the former was able to get much on the shot, but the ball had just enough on it to slip through traffic and cross the goal line.

With just under eight minutes to go, Kyler Vojvodic got loose on a breakaway. He had possession well inside the Brown box when he went down on a slide tackle from behind. Despite heavy protests from the Rams, no foul was called and Rhode Island got a corner kick instead of a penalty kick. The Rams could not get an equalizer and were left with a frustrating result.
