RHODE ISLAND VS. FORDHAM - Series notesÂ
- Rhody makes the trip to Fordham to face the Bronx-based Rams on Saturday.
- It's the second straight year URI has traveled to Rose Hill Gym. A season ago, Rhody handed Fordham a 53-35 loss on Jan. 29, 2025.
- Rhode Island has won three of the last four meetings with Fordham.Â
- It's the 46th all-time battle of the Rams. Fordham has a slight edge in the series, 23-22.Â
- The Rhody Rams enter Saturday's game up winning their last 12 straight.
- URI is 9-1 on the road this season while Fordham is 7-5 at Rose Hill Gym.
SCOUTING THE (FORDHAM) RAMS
- Fordham fell to VCU last time out, 69-58.Â
- The last win for the Bronx-based Rams was on Jan. 18 against St. Bonaventure in a 66-53 victory at Rose Hill Gym.
- Fordham is led by Alexis Black and her 18.7 points per game.Â
- Black has scored 20+ points in eight games this year, including a program-record 42 points in a double-overtime loss against Seton Hall back on Nov. 20.Â
- She was named the Atlantic 10 Co-Player of the Week for her performance.
- Emma Wilson-Saltos leads Fordham with 5.9 rebounds per game.
- Head coach Bridgette Mitchell enters her third season at the helm in 2025-26.
ROAD DAWWWWWWWWGS
- Rhode Island defeated Dayton last time out 79-66 to stay undefeated in Atlantic 10 play and move to 9-1 on the road.
- It was the eighth straight road win for the Rams, who haven't lost a game away from Kingston since the game at Rutgers back on Nov. 13.
- URI stays on the road for its next game, traveling to Fordham Jan. 31.Â
- Rhody's 9-1 road record is the best in program history.

- The trio of Brooklyn Gray, Palmire Mbu, and Vanessa Harris are contributing a total of 35.5 points per game.Â
- Gray leads the Rams averaging 13.1 points per game, while Mbu adds 11.7, and Harris contributes 10.7 each time out.
- Together the three also add 15 rebounds per game.
ONE OF ONE
- Rhode Island senior guard Ines Debroise became the winningest player in program history last time out, collecting 82 wins as a Ram.Â
- Debroise in her fourth year at Rhode Island. Her freshman season saw the Rams go a program-record 26-7, earning a share of the Atlantic 10 regular season title, and a pair of postseason WNIT wins.
- This season, the Rams have already surpassed their win total from a year ago, collecting 18 wins.Â
