RHODE ISLAND VS. GEORGE WASHINGTON - Series notes 

• Rhody is back on the road for the second time in as many games to face George Washington in a Wednesday matinee.
• The Rams enter Wednesday's game winning the last six straight games.
• Historically, Rhode Island is 11-45 all-time against the Revolutionaries. 
• Rhody has won five of the last six meetings against GW. The Revolutionaries stunned Rhode Island in the regular season finale a season ago, handing the Rams a 54-46 loss at home. 
• Rhode Island last visited the nation's capital back on Jan. 31, 2024 in a 66-52 win. 
• URI Associate Head Coach Ali Jaques spent the 2023-24 season as an Associate Head Coach in her second stint with the Buff & Blue. Jaques was on the sidelines in the 2006-08 seasons while GW went 55-11 and made consecutive appearances in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament. George Washington was nationally-ranked in both seasons, peaking at No. 8 in the AP Poll and No. 9 in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll in February 2007.

SCOUTING THE REVOLUTIONARIES

• George Washington dropped its last two Atlantic 10 contests after closing the non-conference slate on a seven-game win streak.
• The Revolutionaries won their conference opener against Dayton 54-42 back on Dec. 3.
• Last time out, GW fell 66-52 to La Salle. 
• The Revolutionaries are 7-1 at the Charles E. Smith Center this season.
• Gabby Reynolds leads GW with her 14.4 points per game.
• The Revolutionaries are led by first-year head coach Ganiyat Adeduntan.

HARRIS COLLECTS SECOND A-10 ROOKIE OF THE WEEK HONOR

• Rhode Island freshman Vanessa Harris was named the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week, it was announced by the league Monday. 
• It was the second weekly honor for the Glenarden, Md. product who led the Rams to wins over Richmond and Loyola.
• Harris played a key role in the 2-0 week for the Rams, averaging 11.5 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists while logging nearly 24 minutes per contest off the bench. 
• The rookie scored in double figures in both outings, shooting 39.1 percent from the field and 75.0 percent at the line, and finished the week with 23 points, 12 rebounds, five assists, two steals and a block.
• Harris impacted the game on both ends, committing just three total turnovers in the back-to-back wins.

RAMS MAKE IT SIX STRAIGHT W'S

• Rhode Island won its sixth straight win last time out, picking up a conference win at Loyola Chicago.
• The Rams had four score in double figures, led by 17 points from senior captain Ines Debroise. 
• Sophomore captain Albina Syla turned in her second double-double of the season, pairing 16 points with 10 rebounds.
• Rhody scored 70 points in the win for the sixth time this season. Last year, the Rams scored 70+ points in seven total games.
• The six-game win streak matches the eighth best in program history. 
• The most consecutive wins for the Rams was a 13-game streak in the 2021-22 season.
