NORMAN, Okla. – Rhode Island golfers Aidan O'Donovan, Tony Liu and Josiah Tong were all recognized as 2025-26 Cobalt Golf Division I All-America Scholars, the Golf Coaches Association of America announced.

The trio was among 649 NCAA Division I athletes from 210 schools earned 2025-26 Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar honors. Delaware, East Carolina, and Lamar tied for the most recipients from one school in NCAA Division I with six.

"I am extremely proud of Josiah, Tony and Aidan, each of whom have been named All-America Scholars for the second time," said Rhode Island head coach Gregg Burke. "This brings the total to 38 URI honorees in my time as coach, which is a tribute to the culture established, discipline expected, and the incredible hard work and sacrifice of the players."

To be eligible for Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar nomination, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically in NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA, or receiving their associate's degree and in their last year of athletic eligibility in the NJCAA.

In addition, they must participate in 50 percent of their team's competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 76.0 in NCAA Division I, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at their college or university.
