How it Happened
Bryant defeated Rhode Island, 1-0, on Tuesday night at the URI Soccer Complex.

The Bulldogs goal came from midfielder Marcos Blasco in the 20th minute. Fermin Rodriguez played a ball into the box from the right side, where Blasco redirected it with his left foot to give Bryant the early advantage.

Rhode Island made a late push for the equalizer in the final minute. Tiago Barriguinha sent a ball toward the six-yard box from outside the penalty area, but Bryant goalkeeper Ramon Camejo came off his line and punched it away to preserve the 1-0 victory.
