KINGSTON, R.I. - Lily Saul was named Atlantic 10 Cross Country Performer of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday afternoon.

Saul started her 2026 cross country campaign by winning the 57-runner field at the Shawn M. Nassaney Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 12 at Bryant University. Saul dominated the field, running the 5K course in a time of 17:57.5. She was nearly 11 seconds faster than the next closest runner. 

Rhode Island's cross country season continues at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 19. The meet is set for a noon start.
