KINGSTON, R.I. - Rhode Island will play five nationally televised games as part of its 2026-27 Atlantic 10 conference schedule, which was release by the league Tuesday morning.

Rhody opens the season with a pair of tough tests, traveling to Saint Joseph's on Dec. 30 to wrap up the 2026 calendar year. That is followed by the home conference opener against George Mason on Nov. 2, which will broadcast on USA Sports. The Hawks and Patriots finished third and fifth, respectively, in last year's final standings.

Those two games ignite a stretch of six league games in 18 days. Rhody will also visit Duquesne (Jan. 6), host La Salle (Jan. 9) and George Washington (Jan. 13) and visit Richmond (Jan. 16) over the first two and half weeks of conference play. The tilt with the Spiders will be carried by USA Sports.

After a week off, Rhody will host Duquesne on Jan. 23, just 17 days after visiting the Dukes in Pittsburgh. From there, it is back-to-back road games against defending league champion Saint Louis on Jan. 26 and La Salle on Jan. 30 to close out the month. The Saint Louis game will air on CBS Sports Network.

URI opens February with home games against Fordham (Feb. 3) and Davidson (Feb. 7) before visiting VCU on Feb. 10. CBS Sports Network has the game against VCU. Rhody stays on the road for a game at Loyola Chicago on Feb. 13.

A rematch with Richmond (Feb. 17) in the Ryan Center brings the team home for one game before the Rams are back on the road to face Fordha, on Feb. 20. The team then gets a week off to prepare to host Dayton on Feb. 27 in a game on CBS Sports Network.

The final two games before the conference tournament will be at George Mason (March 3) and home against St. Bonaventure (March 6).

All conference games not on national television will be streamed on ESPN+. Game times will be announced at a later date.
