• Went 5-1 in 14 starts.

• Season was canceled after just 13 games due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
• Made three appearances, all out of the bullpen.

2019 (Sophomore)

• Made nine starts and 11 appearances overall. 
• Turned in a 3.18 ERA over 45.1 innings.
• Struck out 33 and issued just 10 walks.

2018 (Freshman)

• Made four appearances, three of which were starts.
• Finished his rookie campaign with a 9.53 ERA over 11.1 innings of work.

Before URI

• Played baseball and basketball for Greely High School.
• Pitched 133 innings in high school with a 0.94 ERA, 193 strikeouts, 41 walks, five shutouts, three no-hitters and one perfect game.
• Had a 15-5 record at Greely. 
• Set his high school’s single-game record for strikeouts (18) in 2017.
• Was a finalist for Maine Athlete of the Year in 2017.
• Played in the ME/NH All-Star game.
• Two-time All-State First Team in 2016 and 2017.
• Second team All-Conference in 2015.
• First team All-Conference in 2016 and 2017. 
• Led his high school baseball team to two consecutive state championships in 2014 and 2015.
• Was a part of the 2017 basketball team that won its state championship.

• Born December 29, 1998. 
• Son of Kim and Scott Twitchell.
• Has one older sister, Mykaela, who graduated from Gettysburg College.
• Enjoys fishing, hunting, snowmobiling and hiking.
• Favorite athlete is David Ortiz.
• Favorite teams are the Boston Red Sox, the Boston Celtics and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
