2016 (Senior)

  • Appeared on offense and special teams in nine games
  • Served as the game captain at Villanova (10/8)
  • Caught one pass for 20 yards against New Hampshire (9/24). Also had one punt return for 2 yards

2015 (Junior)

  • Appeared in all 11 games this season, making two starts
  • Served as the team's punt returner
  • Finished season with six catches for 36 yards and 11 punt returns for 31 yards
  • Had three punt returns for 10 yards against Delaware (10/10)
  • Returned one punt for 7 yards at Brown (10/3)
  • Had an 11-yard punt return at Maine (9/26)
  • Made first career start at wide receiver and caught one pass for 5 yards at Albany (9/12). Also had one punt return for 5 yards
  • Made Rhode Island debut, making two catches for 9 yards in season opener at Syracuse (9/4)
  • Transferred to Rhode Island for the Spring 2015 semester and participated in Spring Camp

Before URI

  • Had nine touchdown catches to help Cerritos College \post an 8-3 record last fall in 2014
  • His second touchdown of the game – a 19-yard catch on fourth-and-19 – lifted Cerritos to a 22-19 win over Santa Barbara City College and victory in the Golden State Bowl
  • Named MVP of the Golden State Bowl
  • Appearing in all 11 games in 2014, catching 30 passes for 478 yards, averaging nearly 16 yards per reception
  • In two seasons at Cerritos, Caines had 41 receptions and 580 receiving yards
  • At La Habra High School, he had 45 catches for 800 yards and 12 touchdowns as a senior
  • His father, Tom, signed as a free agent with the Seattle Seahawks in 1989 and has spent the last 18 years coaching at Cerritos
