2011: Finished his first season at URI with a .341 average to go along with 59 hits - 17 of which were for extra bases... Also registered 34 runs, 34 RBI, 17 multiple-hit games and 10 multiple-RBI games... Ranked fourth in the conference with a .378 average in Atlantic 10 games... Posted a team-best 14-game hit streak from March 23-April 20... Earned A-10 First Team and NEIBA Second Team honors... Also was named to the CB360 Primetime Performers Weekly Honor Roll on March 23 before receiving Atlantic 10 (April 4) and ECAC Player of the Week (April 5) accolades... Went 2-for-3 with three RBI in his Rhody debut at McNeese State on Feb. 19... Recorded six hits, five runs and five RBI in four games at the Palm Beach Challenge (Feb. 26-March 4)... Elon University: Played two seasons at Elon University... appeared in 58 games with a total of 97 at-bats... Homered five times and drove in 22 runs while hitting .338 over 65 at bats in 37 games as a freshman... Was 4-for-4 in stolen base attempts... Made two pitching appearances, throwing 2.0 innings... Had a career game in a victory over Wake Forest, homering three time (including a grand slam), driving in 10 runs and scoring three times in a 4-for-5 night at the plate.. Named to the College Baseball Foundation's "National All-Star Lineup" and recognized as having Ping! Baseball's Spotlight Performance of the Week following his 6-for-14 (.429), three-run, 11-RBI week.
High School: Attended Providence Country Day (2003), Bishop Hendricken High School (2004-2006) and IMG Academy (2007)... Was a three-sport athlete playing baseball, football and basketball... Was a two-time All-League selection... Ranked as the top prospect at the Perfect Game Northeast Underclass Showcase... Was a three-time Puma All-America invitee... Helped Hendricken to the 2005 state title while leading the squad in both homers and RBI.
