Was a member of the California Scholarship Foundation for four years.
Recognized as a scholar athlete from 2012-2016.
Graduated high school as an AP scholar with honors.
During his senior year, he played in 30 games, averaged .309 at the plate, had 29 hits, 22 runs, 11 RBIs and stole 16 bases.
Played baseball for ABD Academy for four years.
In 2016, he was recognized as a Orange County All-Star and was selected to the All South Coast League 2nd team.
Led the league in stolen bases in 2016.
His high school team had 10 players who went on to play for Division I programs and sent four players to the MLB after the 2015-2016 season.

Son of Mary Claire and Andy Mircovich.
Has two sisters, Gabby and Noel.
His sister Noel attended the University of Oregon from 2014-2018.
His sister Gabby attended the University of Texas, Austin from 2012-2016.
Loves dogs.
Favorite athlete is Mike Trout.
Favorite teams are the New York Mets, the New York Giants and the Los Angeles Lakers.
