Brendan Patterson

Brendan Patterson enters his first season at Rhode Island in 2022. He joined the staff as the tight ends coach in March of 2022.

Patterson spent the 2021 season at Lehigh, coaching the tight ends while also working as the program’s video coordinator and offensive quality control coach. Before that he spent one year at St. Thomas More in Connecticut, coaching the wide receivers and tight ends.

In his playing career, Patterson was a quarterback and tight end at Wesleyan (2016-19). Initially recruited as a quarterback, he transitioned to tight end following his freshman season and helped lead Wesleyan to a pair of Little Three titles. Patterson earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Wesleyan in 2020.
