Christina Ball was promoted to Director of Football Operations at Rhode Island in January of 2020. The moved came after she has spent the 2019 season as Volunteer Coordinator of Football Operations.

In her role, Ball assists the head coach with on-campus duties related to recruiting, lodging, meals, transportation, and compliance documents. She also handles travel arrangements, team meals, on-site transportation and pre- and post-game meals. 

Ball recruits, hires and manages interns, volunteers, and team managers. She coordinates practice facilities and schedules with the Assistant Athletic Director of Operations and serves as the team’s liaison with the team’s Sport Administrator.

Before joining the staff at Rhode Island, Ball worked as an event ambassador with the Kraft Sports and Entertainment Group in Foxboro, Mass. She engage prospective and current clientele in a professional and positive manner before, during, and after events to offer directions, answer general questions about the facility, Patriot Place, and the Patriots organization. She assisted in the execution of event and promotional activities including pregame on-field promotions, pregame giveaways, pregame tailgate parties, pregame and half-time ceremonies.  

Ball also has worked as a Community Outreach Coordinator with Mashpee Public Schools and was an intern with the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association.

She earned a bachelor's degree in Sport Management with a minor in Legal Studies from Endicott College in 2018.
