Dillion Costello enters his first season as the Rams' offensive quality control specialist/assistant wide receivers coach in 2024.
He joins Rhode Island after spending the previous two years with Hampden-Sydney College, where he was the wide receivers coach. During his time with the Tigers, the team finished the 2022 season ranked fifth in the nation in passing yards per game (313.6 ypg) and led its conference in scoring. Costello coached four total players to All-ODAC selections while additionally serving as the department's assistant strength & conditioning coach.
Prior to making the move to a coaching position, Costello was a four-year starter at Hampden-Sydney. A two-year team captain, he earned Third Team All-ODAC honors in 2021 and was a two-time All-Academic selection.
He graduated in 2021 with a degree in Government.
