Jacob Roser enters his first season with Rhode Island Football in 2023, having joined head coach Jim Fleming's staff in July.
Roser joins the Rams after a pair of coaching stints with St. John Fisher University (defensive backs) and Maplewood High School in Pennsylvania (defensive coordinator). During his time with the latter, his alma mater, the team went to the district semifinals. Roser also had a hand in the team's strength and conditioning which led to team-wide performance improvements.Â
A safety at Geneva College from 2018-21, Roser graduated with a bachelor's degree in business administration in 2021 before earning his MBA in 2022. In his senior year, he was coached by current Rhody Defensive Backs coach Brandon Napoleon.
