Jake Fire joined the football staff as a defensive quality control coach in the Spring of 2023.

A four-year starter for the Rams, Fire earned Second Team All-CAA Football honors after starting all 11 games in 2022. Led the team with 99 tackles and had 7.0 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and one interception. He played in 47 games over the course of his career at Rhode Island.
